If i had a sheet of regular old aluminum, would some sandpaper be all that is needed to get the brushed aluminum look? thats what it looks like to me... i am thinking of making my own panels that would replace the plastic step area in the door... 99 bucks for it just seems a wee bit much for somthing that is relatively simple...
