  • Mustang spoiler on a Bird??

The aerowing looks to be too much trouble than it's worth. The wing on this car, also an 85 :D , is from a 99 Mustang. Interesting........

Looks to hang off the rear good. It should catch plenty of air. I bet For didn't even make them.

Nice shot. you know, I think that looks better than the TA spoiler that GM did put on the 3rd gens.

I like the "whale tail" spoiler better. I had it on my 87 Formula... the only problem is that it was made of like solid rubber or something and made the hatch weigh a ton!

Anyone gonna try this??? You can get new ones with the 3rd brake light for $70 on Ebay. id like to know more about the fitment. I am sure you would need to patch over n make new holes but thats isnt to hard.

I have the aerowing spoiler, and the rear mounting boltws are 42" across, the same as these mustang wings. However, that's only for the T/A hatches, I have the regular Firebird hatch, and the mounts for those wings are smaller, but theholes would have tobe filled in either way.

It's sacreligous to put ford on GM or GM on ford. Last time I put a ford color on my camaro a girl hit me doing 60-70 3 days after I got it done. So I can verify this is true, lol.

Well, it arrived today. The rear studs lined up good w/the factory spoiler holes. I just had to drill new holes for the front studs. Whatcha think?

oh yeah, it's a 2003 take off wing.

                              more:
