i cant really understand what you're saying, but here is how you claybar. you spray the quickdetailer on a clean, dry car (or you can spray it on right after it is washed and still wet). make sure you get enough detailer on the car, so the clay will slide across the paint. then you rub the clay across the wet part. then you dry it. pretty simple.

Ok, not to be rude, but you did it wrong.

1) Wash Car
2) Dry Car
3) Use detailing spray in small area
4) Claybar that area
5) Repeat 3-5 until you've done whole car
6) Wax car
7) Drive Car
8) Pick up hot chicks who admire your car
9) Make sweet love to hot chicks on hood of your car.
10) Dent hood, buy new aftermarked fiberglass hood.
11) Repeat 1-9

i just used a clay bar on my car. when you spray the detailer on the car, make sure you use enough if not more than you need because it can never be too wet. that way you dont screw up your paint. but just constantly spray it on. and dont ever use just water. and after each section wipe it off with a towel or something

Same way sort of, but I wash the car, rinse it, don't let it dry and go with the spray bottle of soap, usually a little on the concentrated side, rinse the car in spots I did, and go over it with the sponge.

Then washed and dried.

I did this on a really cloudy day at dusk so worked great.

I just got a Zaino kit and I'm going to clay bar my Firebird this coming weekend.

Can someone answer these questions for me?

1.) Can I cut corners and just wash and clay bar the car at the same time? Instead of having to wash and dry the car, clay bar it, then wash and dry it again? (Too much work. I'm lazy.)

2.) Does the clay bar remove hard water stains on the windows and paint?

3.) When you're done with the clay bar, can you sculpt it into something instead of just throwing it away?

Thanks.

1) I just wash car, clay bar, then make sure that I wax IMMEDIATELY after finishing panel.

2) I've never had luck with that...

3) You can keep and reuse (supposed to be good for 4 full sized cars I believe).

4) Nice to see you back. Wash my car when you get a chance will you?
