How do you remove the door panels in an '01 firebird? Is there some sort of double sided tape holding the edges nice and tight? I dont want to use too much force I'm just getting annoyed I cant get them out.

Let me know if someone tells you because I would like to know myself. I have heard it is hard to remove them and once you do they are very hard to get back on because of some kind of tabs that break :(

i have a 99 and it wasent all that hard, yes there are tabs at the bottom of the door and 5 screws you have to take out, one of them is behine the window controls. Hope that helps a little bit. Sorry if it does not

Yeah, make sure all of he screws/bolts are out. Then you'll just pull UP on the panel, not out. I suggest everyone pick up a Haynes manual cause it will tell you how to basically take the whole car apart ;)

          Haynes is the man.

All screws, pull up and out. First thing you remove is the mirror backplate and the doorhandle/lock plate, then the whole panel lifts out :D Easy sneezy.
