taking off the molding?

Has anyone ever taken off the side molding on thier 93-97 camaro? I know firebirds look good with out it, but I don't know about a camaro

I dont think it would look good since there is an indentaion in the car for the molding, painting the molding would look good though, saw it on another camaro...looked good

I was searching around on camaroZ28.com board and found something. In the appearance section there is a post titled "neat little body mod", this guy did it to his silver SS and it looked really good IMO. I'm just scared to rip it off because the moldings are $40 per side to replace :eek: and I'm broke.

i took my side mouldings off my 00 Camaro. it was relatively easy to do. looks much better after they came off..
