You need to take a file and grind down the hole where the wheel hub sits, you only need to remove a small amount of material. I had the same problem fitting my 02 SS wheels on my 95 Camaro

      Maxmsu,
I had the same EXACT problem trying to fit 2000 Trans Am wheels on my 1995 Firebird. I went to a tire shop as well and when they told me it wouldn't fit I almost cried. The idiot working their told me there was nothing I could do  .

So I came home and took a look for myself. After a little observation I found out it was caused because I didn't 4 wheel disc brakes like the 1996 and up f-doby's do. Basically the center hub on our the rear drum brakes are alittle to big to fit the newer rims.

This is what I did. I just took a dremel and a stone grinding bit and just grinded the inside lip of the rim until it fit. It dosen't take much(about 1/8 inch). You don't need to this to all four wheels just the rear two. If you need more help just tell me, although it's very easy. ;)
