  • Questions about ordering leather at Autoleathers.com

I have a couple questions about ordering leather covers for my 2000 Firebird through Autoleathers.com First one is that during the ordering process it asks me to describe my headrests. The choices are round or solid. My natural instinct is to say solid given the two choices, but I need to be completely sure, as once they are made they are none returnable. Also did anyone install the leather covers themselves? I have already taken the cloth covers off my seats and I am going to try and reuse the hog rings if at all possible. This is so I wont have to order the installation kit. I pretty much know what I getting into but I need to know how the headrests are going to be installed because as of now I have to cut the stitching to get the cloth off. There isn't any clips or rings holding it on. If anyone can help describe what they did it would be benificial if you think it would be best for me to take the headrests to an uphostery shop then that's what I'll have to do. No since in screwing something up for that kind of price. If anyone can help me with my situation it would be great cuz I want to order them asap. Thanks, Jason

Yes, I, too, would also like to know, especially concerning this headrest option: I have always been perplexed about that.

My guess would be solid as well...

It asked what type of headrest u have now right ive been there and that is what i think. if u have solid then go with solid if your have ones with a hole in the middle then do that. i didnt know that u could just order the leather part i thought they came with all the seats as well. actually im sure that that is what happens!!
