My windshield and hatch glass (not my windows, interestingly) have this strange film on their interior. I've used windshield-specific glass cleaner and water and a dry towel and I just can't seem to get rid of these streaks. It's only obvious when the sun is shining directly through them at a certain angle (think sunset or headlights) and the swirls are very obvious.
I tried rubbing it out with a clean cotton cloth when I noticed that rubbing a spot on the inside got rid of them, but they still appear there... now just not as worse. Aside from taking it to a glass shop, how can I get the inside of the glass spotless? Now that it's summertime, i guess I noticed it, but it must have been like this from the previous owner... Any tips are welcome.
