750 for mecham wing install and paint

I bought the Mecham rear wing for 400 bucks, and it have it installed and painter will be 750. this includes feathering(since the edges are blocked off), painting the whole rear hatch stock arctic white, bolting the edges of the wing to the hatch (they pop up pretty bad, and the bolts will be inset and covered in bondo/filler), and it will take 3 day to do. it's scheduled for january 5th or 6th, so I wanna see if this guy's chargin me a little too much for what I'm askin him 2 do. he says it'll look like it came from the factory w/ the wing when it's all done.

It sounds kind of expensive. But for all the work needed to fit the wing I guess its not. I love that wing. Good choice. [img]graemlins/thumbsup.gif[/img]

that sounds about right if he has to do all that stuff for it.

when we were lookin at it, it looked sweet. GM shoulda had that as part of their GFX pkg, cuz it flows very well w/ the factory lines of the car. it covers up the crease that runs all along the bottom of the spoiler. basically, from the bottom part of the middle brake light all the way around to the end of the flat part of the decklid. the indented area in front of that(lovingly called lake firechicken when it rains) remains uncovered by it. it wraps all around the decklid. yes I will post pics when it's done. it extends the decklid out 2-3 inches and up aboput 1-2 inches, so it's not radical in any way, just a little different and unique.

Personally that wing is a bit too big, which is why I went with the Wings West one.
But as long as it is what you like, go for it.
