if they are chrome, you are pretty much screwed unless if you get them re-chromed
if they are painted, try sanding & re-painting (going to be a major pain though because you gotta get the tire off, a local tire shop would do that & remount it though for pretty cheap)
if they are polished, sand 'em (start w/ low grit & work your way up)
but be careful, if its really deep, you might be better off just getting another rim than sanding the rim all to heck trying to get all the scuffs out. The outer lip of it is...polished..so i would probably be able to sand it down. What type of paper would I use. Should I do it by hand, or with a machine?My 1996 Camaro RS www.cardomain.com/id/mustangkiller311 \"Its out-dated\"
Mods=SLP CAI, 3.42/LSD, 180*, BMR StrutBrace,SLP Take-Off Shocks/Springs, Z28Swaybar, DynomaxSuperTurbo,3in pipes,Catco3in,3in Cutout ThrottleBody Spacer, SolidDriveShaft,NGKplugs, Taylor8mmWires,ZR1 rims, RS Spoiler,WhiteFacedGuages.
Stereo= Pioneer DEH-P8400MP, Custom Subthump enclosure, 2 BlouPunkt 12\'s, JL 500/1, Fosgate speakers, 1FaradCap.
NEW 1997 FireBird Formula WS6
