    Got the new 3" cowl induction hood from fiberglass fabricators on looks good but the quality wasn't all that great places under the hood where the hinges bolted up and where the shocks i guess bolt up there is supposed to be a hole that wasn't there 2 on each bracket which helps line the hood up none of them where there i had to drill em myself finally got it to shut still is to far to the left looks good on the car my question is tom. i want to wash the car what is the deal with getting soap on the gel coat? i am getting it painted next week

      it wont hurt to wash the gel coat...its only bad if you get a primered hood wet because the water will soak into the primer and then the paint wont stick when you paint it...
