• Will '98 TA seats fit an '01 bird?

I have the chance to buy leather seats from a 1998 trans am. Does anyone here know if they will fit into a 2001 firebird? I would expect a direct fit.

Not 100% sure on this but I had called speed automotive and asked a similar question and the answer was yes. You might want to check with them to make sure. They do lots of interior swaps, engine swaps, you name it. Hope that helps.

Yes they will fit. All interiors are exact from 97-02. The only thing I could see going wrong is if your firebird seats were not power then you might not have the wiring harness there to hook up the power seats from the TA.

Mine aren't power but I still have a wiring harness below the seats, it just isn't connect to anything.
