Well I'm following 91 Firebird's and I'm also getting the 89 bird painted. It would be painted the same color, which is black. I'm also having my aftermarket hood painted too.
I'm going to have Earl Scheid do this since my brother a discount for 400 bucks. But I was wondering if I got the hood painted (Black) there too would it look off to GM's paint?
If you have everything painted at one time then your not going to encounter any problems. The undercoat on the paint won't really matter any especially on a dark color like black, and they'll probably put 1-2 thick coats on.
Color match is usually only a problem when you try to match to already existing paint and the old stuffs faded or worn out.
Haven’t done anything on the Camaro, but put LEDs on my truck headlights . And my oil pressure sensor went out on the truck so going to fix that this...
