Haha 97chevycamaro, the redcar on their site in member rides is mine, if you seen it in there before. I have that grille but i'm not a big fan of it. Since you have to drill through the abs on the car and tie rap it, it looks pretty cheasy. Yea it's cheap but i'd rather fork out the dough for that billet grille, that one is lookin pretty good.

alright guys, i'll get some pics up as soon as i find someone with a digital camera...but i can guarantee this is worth the $1.24 it took me.

first, i went to home depot and in the fence section they sell these mesh metal grills like what you see in the picture on ebay's site. the grill is curved inward because it is made to fit over flowers in a metal flower bed (don't ask me, ask martha stewart).

anyway, i took that thing home and straightened it out cause it was bent lengthways into a U shape (to fit over the flower box). anyway, my friend got tired of waiting on the thing to straighten out, so he just started bending it back the other way and it worked just as well and quicker.

anyway, take it out to your car and you'll see it's just about the exact length you need to cover that area up--only it's about 1 cm short on both ends--that's not a big deal, because by the time you are finished it looks like it was made that way.

well, what i did was i counted 14 of the little mesh squares up and i cut it length wise all the way across. the BEST way to "cut" it is to get needle nose pliers and just bend them until they snap along each and every little hexagon (you'll see what i mean if you go get it).

then i had to bend it at a slight angle to fit our weird noses. and after that was done, the sides needed a little trimming and the thing just clamps into the plastic. it doesn't leave ANY marks if you are careful and it doesn't come loose. i chipped a little paint because i wasn't too careful about it because tonight i repainted my fender due to some scratches/stains/cracks.

i could not believe how well this thing worked out. and it really honestly looks great. only a few flaws that can't be seen from far away and that's the only downside. i mean, how many people walk up to your car and stick their head within 6" of your grille anyway?

for $1.24 it was well worth it. and if anything goes wrong with this one or it falls out--that's another $1.24--not that big of a waste tell me what you guys think...if you all doubt me, i'll HAVE to get a digital camera. otherwise, i'll just TRY my best to get a hold of one. thx guys.

I tied mine around the fog lamps but I hit a dip where there was no sign going 60 and lost the grill along with most of my paint.

be careful, that stuff is sharp, could easily tear thru a tire if it comes out & you run it over
