I found a great deal on some rims, only problem is they have the chrome chipping off. So I'm wondering what my options are other than just dealing with it. How hard is it to remove the chrome? Could I then polish them or would I have to replate them or have them powder coated?

I still might want to stay away from chrome to keep from running into this problem later, not sure. sure its possible....eh....make sure you put a nice clearcoat when your done...keep em nice and shiny

A clearcoat will make them easier to clean.
