  • ? about future plan

Okay heres the deal i just got my 2001 v-6 camaro about a month and a half ago. So i still got awhile moneywise til any big mods. But ive been thinkin and i have a question. Okay here it goes i wanna lower my car an inch and a quarter then get a body kit but i dont know how much ground clearance that is gonna leave me. Is this possible? with the stock height right now i gotta watch going down some inclines already. Also with it being lowered and a kit i could fit 17's right, I would go 18's but i dont think theyd fit. Sorry this is so long but thanks for the help!

wouldn't it be better to put on the gfx kit first then lower it (if it's still an option with the kit on)?

I believe it is possible like other said, but you won't have fun driving places and WILL scrape alot. I scrape all the time on stock fx and it pisses me off ever time (you should see my fx  ). One thing that I never ever hear anyone mention about lowering a car is working on the damned thing. I can't get a jack under the front of my car for the life of me and have to make an intricate stack of wood just to change my freaking oil! (ramps are out of the question) I want to drop my car REALLY bad but it's all the little side effects that keep me from doing it. I think I would be happy with a 1/2" drop (yes 1/2") but even that would make my life even more of a living hell every month or so
