I recently acquired a factory GM 3-piece spoiler. It is the same one that came on the ground effects package. Since GM used bolts in the quarter panals and spoiler as well as double sided tape I was wondering how to install it. I don't think I have too drill holes, I was wondering if I could just use double sided to tape to attach all 3 pieces. I really don't want to drill into my car just to attach this spoiler. Also I live in South Florida so I think that the double sided tape would be enough to hold permentlt. Also I will be using quality 3M acrlyic plus attachment tape not the stuff from the grocier store!
Thanks everybody!

Personally, I would drill it in. If you are planning on this being permanent, you may as well do it right. You don't want someone/something to bump it, have it knocked off at a car wash, or just lose it at highway speed and possibly try to recover it putting yourself at risk. I'd Drill the sucker on, that way you know it's on there for good. Besides, the two sided tape wil leave a nasty residue behind that is tough to remove.
i would drill it, but I just don't know how its gonna look and if I really wanna keep it or trade it later for an SS style spoiler. Thats why i thought tape may be the way to go!

If you use the industrial grade tape like the body shops use and be sure to prep the area first, you should be fine. I think that if you buy the Wings West 3-piece spoiler, it just tapes on and looks just like the OEM one.
Edit: misspelling.

How do you all think it will look if i just have the spoiler and no other ground effect s. I've never seen one like it so I thought I'd original. Any ideas...before I tape the sucker down!

I just got the March 2003 GMHTP mag. On page 38 (and the cover) is a red '93 Z28 with custom hood and the 3-piece spoiler.
In my opinion it does not look very good. It might be the rims on the car though. However, I am probably a little biased. I have the full ground effect kit.
Haven’t done anything on the Camaro, but put LEDs on my truck headlights . And my oil pressure sensor went out on the truck so going to fix that this...
