Repair 3-pc camaro Spoiler?

Well this has been bugging the crap out of me ever since I got the car. The middle piece of the spoiler is seperating from the car on the drivers side and it's just getting worse over time. Should I just get some 3M tape and yank the damned thing off and restick it? I think it might be warped from the sun though, so I'm not sure what I'll have to do about that

Actually factory 3 piece spoilers are bordered by 3M tape and also bolted with 2 or 3 bolts to the main spoiler itself. I woudn't even know how to begin to take that apart. When I bought mine from a junk yard it was already separated from the main spoiler. I had no idea to to attach it so i cut off the built in screws on the 3 piece spoiler....had to also cut a bigger hole where the screw was to fish out the bolt part and then spend the next day scraping off the remaining 3M tape with adhesive remover, then lining the edge with a double layer of 3m heavy duty tape because the 3M tape you buy(at least the heavy duty gray tape with a red backing) is half as thick as the emblem tape GM uses. Sorry for the length..but it's not a happy project. If you could find a way to take apart the main spoiler w/out damaging it to tighten the bolts i would go for it...but i would just leave it alone cuz it's not worth redoing.

Thanks for the info though. I knew about the bolts on the outer pieces (can't have a SS spoiler, doht) but didn't know about the rest. Guess I'll take a look at it and think about it for a while.
