Yeah, that was me. I thought the new ones are all plastic? Was this an older eclipse door. since you went to all that trouble to find the link... maybe you know... are there any billet fuel doors that are made for our cars? Or is putting on the eclipse on the only option?
I wouldn't mind getting one of those and painting it black. Would that just be a waste to paint an aluminum one black, would it be better to go with the plastic one?

hehe wasnt tryin to be rude man sorry....but im pretty sure this is the only thing Ive seen for our cars...I did just see while at work an Audi TT with the same kinda door...which is prolly even more expensive...but I guess if you find the right size you can make it work if you have a will to do something you'll figure out a way to do it....
this thread is over a year old after all. many links like that die after that much time. if you just want pictures of the fuel door mod click on nikon's sig.
When I owned my Contour, I purchased a fuel door from a Mustang Bullitt when they were brand new through the parts department. The door fit with minor modification (bending a few stock tabs in the sheetmetal). However, since the door bears the Mustang logo on the inside of the door and just plain comes from a Mustang, I'd feel it sacreligious to place one on my Camaro.
the Link isnt working anymore.
Does anyone have a how to ?
