I had a mustang with blue lights all on it. Interior, Underbody, windshield washer led, plate frame. Till i grew up and realized that camaros were much better cars :). I drove around with them on allllll the time.... never was driving with out them on at night... i had to run from only a couple cops (good thing i had a switch to turn them all off at once and i know how to use the ebrake instead of reg brakes at night) but i would drive past alot of cops and they wouldnt do anything. I talked to one cop and he said that they wouldnt pull u over unless they suspected ssomthing else... they would use that as an excuse to pull u over..... but o well..

Maybe Im not reading this right but I dont see where it says you cannot have a red light up front. It just says at least one light must be white or amber. Am I missing something??

most traffic law books do not say "you can't have blue, red, yellow, orange, purple, green, etc... lights." they adopt certain standards set by some other entity. the vehicle then must comply with that standard to be legal in your state. by just saying they adopt manufacturer and SAE standards essentially means it's already setup and they just used someone else's law.

if you intend to do this, go to a highway patrol station, NOT the local PD, and ask them what is or isn't legal.

What lot are you going to be at, or better yet where are the conservative class cars placed? I'm going Sunday and I'll probably stop by. I also heard the same thing about the laws from a Gwinnett County cop.

superbird is right. As long as they are not strobing, flashing, etc. then they are fine. I would definantly check with your local authorities just to make sure that that didn't amend something to the law but in most states/cases there is no law against underbody neon light kits. It doesn't prohibit it as long as it doesn't flash/ strobe/ or directly point out from the car then it is fine. Once again check with your local authorities and not some of these poeple on this board that try to extend the law in every direction just so that they can right a ticket.

i'm not sure if this has been said since i didn't read the entire thing, but...

i heard that if you enter into a car show at least once a month, you're allowed to have neons.

                Domestic Violence

My lenses are clear and my bulbs have an sae number so therefore they confirm to the SOCIETY OF AUTOMOTIVE ENGINEERS and if you read the code section that protains to emergency vehicles(40-8-92) it states the you must have a red light permit, but then the very next code(40-8-93) states that "nothing contained in code sections 40-8-90 (use of revolving blue lights) and 40-8-92 shall be deemed to apply nor construed to prohibit blinking or flashing parking, or brake lights or directional signals on any motor vehicle"

                and P.s

State patrol officers use the same
                Georgia Law enforcement Code Manual
                As all local officers do.

My car was in the blue section about 8 cars down from a white 1999 trans am that shredded his salad shooters at the burnout contest. My car was a black 1999 f-bird with black ROH wheels with a polished lip and ss leather seats.

There were alot of nice cars there

Did you see the new TA collectors edition with the 20"s and flames. I got a picture of it and the one in the wild class that was sponsered by eurolite

Ya, I think I saw you. I also saw that Trans Am, it looked pretty sweet. That show was better than last year. I'm thinking about entering my car in next year, but I need to do a lot more to it. Did you see that, I forget what kind of car it was, break in half during the hydrolics competition?
