  • What do you guys think?

I used this weekend to do a little appearance work to the Z.

    Mother's Clay
    Meguiars Step 1 Cleaner
    Meguiars Color X
    Meguiars NXT

I also did the Berger Panel with brushed aluminum inserts and the GTO 5.7 emblem. I included pics of the tailpanel in this post. All of the other pics can be seen on my webshots page.

Looks good, but dull. Didn't you shoot it with clearcoat? Or, did you want the dull/satin appearance?
It looks great either way though!

For the guys that wanted to know about the paint..

                              You'll need some 400grit wet/dry sandpaper

                              Automotive Primer or
                              Automotive Primer sealer..

I used both.. sanded then regular primer. Wetsanded the primer. Then two coats of the primer sealer.

Once the primer sealer dried. I put down 3 coats of Satin Black paint.

Pretty easy.. I let the panel dry overnight and most of the next day before I started handling it and applying the emblem and inlays.
