Thanks for the suggestions, EVERYONE! Linx, the car looks great, thanks for posting those pics.. The Camaros with the cowls looks great too.. I'm still up in the air with which one to choose. Does the cowl get in the site of the driver??? I've always wanted a cowl hood, but I still think the SS hood would go better with the graphics on my front bumper, as they would be extended up into the scoop... well, I have some time for this. I may end up getting the competition hood from RK Sport (it's the SS hood). It'll be about $700 shipped which is about the cheapest I've found so far for that one. Of course, the cowl is much cheaper...

ok if you're looking for an affordable hood... i dont think RKSport is the place to go. i got mine from VFN Fiberglass... very high quality... looks loke the big block hood. its sweet. check it out... the've got good prices and all... only kinda bad thing is they make it when you order it so you have to wait a month or two... but thats not bad.. check it out..

Geez, they ALL look nice. John, is that hood functional from the scoop area or is it more like a cowl? How high is it? Looks great, btw.

thanks for the comments... the hood is about2.5-3 inches tall... they never told me how tall is was actually. the scoop is functional as is the cowl. i havent run my intake to the scoop.. but i plan on it.. i noticed a huge difference in engine temp after installing it also due to the cowl.
