  • Lightest aftermarket SS hood...?

Ok, I think I may end up going with an SS hood afterall because it will go with the graphics that are on the nose of the car and those graphics can be exended up into the opening of the hood so it looks like they are getting sucked up in there ;)

Now, the question is: where can I get the lightest SS hood that isn't too expensive?? And do any of them come with a hood liner or not? (I have a pretty cool hood liner right now and I like that...) btw, the hood will not be functional because I have a blower... oh well...it will still help cool the engine compartment a bit..

I don't like the 3" SS hood... regular one would be better for me... any other suggestions?

RKSport makes race only hoods and I think they are for about $400. I don't know if they are clear or carbon fiber but you have to call them. They are supposed to be extra light, but fragile.

SS hood imo is dumb, SS spoiler on the other hand....looks good and is cheap, otherwise I'd go with a mecham spoiler to avoid to have anything on my car SS like without having a real SS
