I have some sorta film on my windshield that you can see when the sun hits it or headlights hit it a certain angle. I think it might be overspray of clearcoat or paint when my car was painted in Nov. Any idea how to get it off? I tried some paint remover today, and just used it like windex, put it on and wiped it off.

i always have a kind of see thru film on my windows. i can usually wipe it off w/ a dry towel, wiping one way only. if u wipe both ways it'll just spread it all over. if it's over spray, u'll know, and u can either scratch it off or use small amount of paint thinner on a rag.2001 Arctic White Firebird<br />More mods than I\'m allowed to list!

If it's overspray, get a clay bar. You'll know if it's overspray by gliding your hand over it, after you cleaned it of course.
If you have a film on the windshield, then try cleaning it with rubbing alcohol. Then apply some rain x.
If it's the interior, try those smear-free window cleaners. I used to have a used up chamois towel. Without any cleaners, just water, it will get rid of any interior film. But with my new chamois, it doesn't work. I think it's because the old one was all dried out.
