    Has any1 here repainted the non functional hook scoop vents on the 93-97 camaros? mines startin to flake off...just wonderin if it was worth paintin or just gettin new ones

        Mine are painted to match the racing stripes. Although it's very hard to see in the pics, click below.

          Yah I kept mine black with the stripes, but I am sure you can get some of that krylon fusion and paint it to whatever color you want.

            I painted mine with silver auto paint from Advanced Auto. The paint has been on for over a year and it looks fine.

              what i wanted to do is buy little leds and drill the holes out on each piece and put them in every hole that thing would be bright

                I wanted to do that when I first bought my car, but then I ran into the problem of the part of the hood that is behind the vents. I didn't feel like drilling through the hood, then finding a way to seal it off from rain and such.
