Touch-up paint sucks. I had some rust in my rear wheel well, right on the lip of the sheet metal. So I ground it down to clean it off. I then brushed on some touch up paint to cover up the bare metal to protect from rusting again. I'm lucky it's in the well, so it's hard to see, but up close it looks bad. Bumpy, lumpy, and you can see where it was uneven underneath. Anyone know how to make a small repair like this look better?

Usually with that stuff you have to sand it down a little with some really fine sand paper and then put some clear over it.UAH FSAE
Chief Engineer
http://chargermotorsports.com
http://members.cardomain.com/camaronat

Yah I saw it on tv with touch up paint. After letting the paint dry bend a small razor blade(the little 20 cent ones) thn scrape off the excess paint to make it even with the other paint. Then sand with like 2000 grit sand paper (really fine, and it should be wet). Then after sanding get some polish and buff it out. They had this on the do it yourself channel, it should be on their website somewhere. My Car http://members.cardomain.com/tucsoncamaro
3 inch flowmaster catback system, with ceramic coated pacesetter headers,3 inch cat,K&N FIPK

Or, you can do it this way:
http://www.langka.com/
or get the Mothers product that uses langka in it... I've been looking at local retailers, but Denver sucks, I could barely find Seafoam and Meguiar's NXT Tech Wax.Check out my stable of supercharged W-Bodies HERE
\'97 Pontiac GP GTP Coupe
\'98 Regal GS | L67 3800 Series II
