I just washed the car yesterday and it rained last night!! To make things worse, I have the LARGEST amount of bird crap on my top that I've ever seen on a car. I swear a freakin' Ostritch climbed on my car and just squatted down to do it's buisness. The problem is, it won't come off!! I've tried the pressure washer at the car wash, I tried a scouring brush....no luck. I got most of it off, but there is still slight evidence of it being there. Does anyone know of any tricks to get this off the covertible tops? As long as I'm on the subject, is there any secrets to keeping the top clean. I don't want it looking like most old cars where it's all nasty at the folds.

Don't know about the crap, but as for the top....Don't leave the top down when you're not driving it, and keep it out of the sun for extended periods of time. Also, wash and protect it using some kind of cloth protectant.

Once I came back to my car, and it was actually burried in about a half foot of mushrooms. The kind you cook with. I have no clue how it happend. It was sitting bewteen two cars on the street and bam mushrooms. I just got in my car and drove off.

This doesn't help you very much, but it reminded me of my story.

I've heard about his stuff on the corvette messageboards, a lot of those guys use it on their C5 convertibles. RAGGTOP

i just used my fingernail to scratch the last little bit off, it was my last resort. dont worry i washed my hands after . The more times you wash it, the more it will fade away. The bird crap on my top took a while to get off too but its gone now, what is worse is the tiny littel cigarette burn on the top, that sucks.
