Hi new to this board here. I just had a question. I plan on putting some led lighting in my heater vents.
To the people that have done it, how did you fish the wire into the vents for the lights. I can probably get the 3 middle ones ok, but the two outside vents seem a bit of a challenge.
Any input or instructions would be awesome. Thanks for any help you can provide!!!!!
i did that, it looks ok but the thing is it wont look that great with the air flaps, i took mine out, cut of the flaps and then sandwiched this meshy stuff inbetween. now the light refracts through the mesh and it looks a lot more illuminated.... but i used red bulbs... another problems i that you can see the bulbs and it looks tacky.. im currently thinkin of an alternative, maybe leds but im not sure how well they Brighten up an area... any idea??? any for those of u who think its ricey? how so! just some extra lights, ROCK STARS GET TO MAKE CRAZY LIGHT SHOWS SO I CAN TOO! its only ricey if your trying to portray your car as somthing its not, or trying to add performance mods that dont do jack.. lights? ok i can see mismatched neons everyone looking tacky but not "ricey" even though ricey usually is tacky, it doesnt go both ways in my opinion... ahh i feel better now... oh and for your other question, you have to take off some panels esp the one around the steering wheel... its a PITA to get the wire in there but yea gotta do what u gotta do! you might want to install the switch in the cig lighter like it did, a round rocky will fit absolutely perfectly with a little electrical tape. check outt his link i posted a picture.
LEDs are nice... I think I know what u mean. U want an even glow, not just a bright *** glow that fades the further it goes out.

Hello, so I changed the front bearings on the bird and the ABS inoperative light came on. I made a mistake of not removing negative battery cable. Now...
I usually have to double, triple my headlight switch for them to come up on my 97 Firebird. I cleaned all connections. Could it be the headlight switch...
