Well I finally put my new hood on and got it painted.
What's your thoughts:
Should I put a black dog nose and paint the grill black (the grill for the ram air on the hood)? Leave it alone?
Other suggestions?
The grill looks pretty good right now, not sure if painting it black would make much of a noticeable difference; I'd hafta see if both ways, but right now the brighter silver color draws more attention into the hood scoop which is cool

My opinion of the hood aside, the grille looks great as is, helps accent the headlight and lower grille areas (since they're all black).

i think it looks amazing.. very clean and nice fit.
how much was it total including paint?
96 Camaro M5. The hood was 400 and the paint job was 320. The shop put a couple of thick coats of clear coat on it. I am trying to find an SS intake (very hard to find right now :mad: )to put on it cheap. But, it looks like I am going to have to buy a brand new one and make the modifications as needed.
hey linxs, if you post up a pic where your looking kinda down on the hood, i'd like to try to chop in a dognose paintjob.
I have a feeling it would like really clean if you blacked out the grill and nose.
