    Is it illegal to drive around with carbon fiber head and tail light covers????

    I would assume carbon fiber would block the taillights from shining through, so it would probably be illegal.
    1997 Y87 Camaro with a motor and some stuff.

                first, neither are illegal in the day except for cars that the blackouts cover up the blinkers...
                tail light covers are not at all illegal as long as light can bee seen through even in the day
                some covers are transparent and some arent. I have the GTS probeam covers on my headlights which are clear in the spots for each headlight, and on the taillights i have gts blackouts which i painted the color of my car but they are slotted which allows a lot of light trough.. basicly a bunch of holes... so neither are ilegal at any time of the day

                    a cop stopped me a couple months ago during the day and told me that they were ok on the car during the day but i had to take off at night.... [img]graemlins/thumbsdown.gif[/img]
