So I just read about these and was wondering if anybody has bought them and installed them? And can somebody further explain to me how they work. I just got confused when I read it.(probably cause I'm workings mids and it's near the end of my shift)

i say do it. i have them on my bird and they are a nice addition that not many others have (at least not in this area). basically, every time u brake, the ligt does the 123 sequence then just stays on, and when u have the blinker on it keeps on doing the 123 sequence. i've had a friend drive my car and driven in another car behind and it looks really cool.
