LightWeight Hood?

Any one know of any ram-air style or similar hoods that are lighter than a stock one? the only one i saw with a weight measurement was 31 pounds or something. personally i think the power to weight ratio sucks as it is...don't need to go and make the brute any heavier. maybe I'm just dreaming, after all those hoods DO look like they'd be heavier. oh well any help is greatly appreciated as usual. All aftermarket hoods are lighter than the stock hood, theres a carbon fiber hood too

www.vfnfiberglass.com has really lightweight hoods for f-cars. most of their bold on hoods weigh less than 25 lbs. and the stock replacements weigh around 11-12 lbs.

well the bolt ons are heavier...but im gunna be using this for daily driving and also dusting all those civics on the road....do i want the bolt on hood or the pin on or what??

Check out the guys at www.suncoastcreations.com. they have Z & SS hoods and are in Bradenton, FL. They have hoods, and ram air hood kits, and 800# to talk with a real person.
