Ba***rd keyed my car

ok last week I went to the grocery store about 9:00 pm to get some stuff, and I parked in the middle of the parking lot, not really giving it that much thought. Well I had just washed my car that day and it looked beautiful. When I got back out I saw some carts pushed up against it. I was a little irritated, but no big deal. Well, turns out when I looked at the car closer someone had taken their key in hand and hit my hood, then scraped it with the key. Its gonna cost $442 and take 3-4 days to fix because the hood has to be completely re-painted

happened to me at school...the damn video cameras didnt pick it up because their so low quality....I still need to fix it....mine is down the whole side fo the car :mad: :mad: :mad: STILL THERE TOO!!!! :mad: :mad: :mad:

seriously...i think keying is the LOWEST thing anyone can do... heres my reasoning...

1. if its because you are pissed at the person...take it out in person, dont take a blow while their back is turned. all that shows is that you are a coward.

2. IT COSTS LOTS OF MONEY to fix key marks. sometimes they are deep and repairs have to be done. other times, the car is older, and needs to be totally repainted to match the rest of the car.

3. ITS JUST PLAIN STUPID

i mean my friends ecplise got keyed because these kids came to a party, and they werent let in, so they keyed a car on the way out. THEY THOUGHT IT WAS THE CAR THAT BELONGED TO THE KID THAT KICED THEM OUT! it was some random girls car who was at the party. it was along the hood, and the WHOLE side of the car. She was quoted $900 for repairs and paint...$900 because they werent let into a party? what kind of **** is that?

That sucks man, i hate jealous retards.When Ihad my 68 vette someone keyed A**hole on the hood, keyed both doors, flatten 3 tires and poured coke on it, that cost me around 2k in reapirs to fix.

Yep had that same type of *&@! happen with my old camaro I used to have. It sucks big time, and really makes you mad. Plus makes all our insurance go up because some people are freakn' retards!

Been down that road as well. Someone keyed my 79 Trans Am back when I was in school. And then, I just got my 97 Camaro, had it for three days and someone shoved a basket into it at the store when I went inside to deposit my check.

I don't think it was someone I know, but they were definitely jealous, the car looked f**ing beautiful (still does, HAHAHAHA jealous keying bas**rd!) Thanks for your sympathies all..

some guy in a van pulled up and asked me for gas money, right when I was about to inspect my damage..think that's a hint at who did it? I was so concerned I didnt think to look at any security cameras or get the guy's tag....
oh BTW Nikon, looked at your pics ,your car looks very nice, like the grill.
