I have a 93 bird and it came stock with, it looks like stainless steel or aluminum, etc. wipers. I can't find replacments anywhere! I tried GM dealerships (they only have black ones) and Partsource (they only had shiney (SP?) plastic ones). Has anyone else had this problem?! thx.

Never heard of those coming with chrome wipers, there all suppose to be black . Sounds like aftermarket, they sell those at pep boys

I had a set of dual blues. Truthfully, they were'nt hideously rice or ugly, UNTIL THEY FADED, CHIPPED, and all around sucked. Remember, there's nothing wrong with standard, good ol' metal and plastic, and rubber / silicone, black wipers. They'll never let you down. When those chrome cheapos you buy at PepBoys wear and look like year-old milk, you'll regret it.

Yeah those chrome or so called chrome ones suck. After a little while they fade and chip and look really bad. I would say to just get black ones or OEM ones.<a href=\"http://www.saintsworth.com/z06\" target=\"_blank\">\'02 Corvette Z06</a>Comment

I bet the ones you had were just faded so bad that the paint actually came off. It happened on my old car. Just rubs off and leaves the metal, which was surprisingly shiny. just go for black, I cant see my car or any f-body with chrome wipers..
