  • car paint screwed

    k guys well i totaly screwed up my paint job today ~in a depression like no other~

    So.. imma save up, drive my car all ugly and have it repainted.. what yall suggest i dont want a stock color btw
    i want something origional

    imma play around with adobe tonite and post a few pics if i can find a place thanks guys

    oh yea if ya wanna know how i screwed it up, heres how

    i washed my car... thats right i washed my car with soap and water oh yea dont forget mistakingly using the incorrect side of a kitchen sponge, oh yes thats right i used the green side of it instead of the yellow side ~is a god damn genius~ ~crys~ my baby is ugly =(

    get some rubbing abrasive those shouldn't be too deep.

      Don't use a rubbing abrasive! Get some 1,200+ grit wet sand paper. Wet sanding should take that off since most newer cars have at least 8 layers of clear on them.

      If you are afraid to mess it up, take it to a PRO paint shop. (not maco, or an earl shibe!) They shouldn't charge to much to wet sand, compared to a good paint job.

        already did the rubbing compound and every thing to late, gonna have it painted its totaly screwed i was getting those bugs off really good ya know and after it dryed i **** a brick

          i know you want a nice new color but BLACK always looks good! kinda hard to keep up at times but i think it makes the car look so hard like your really driving a killer. my ride is black :D

              Whew ok guys i took it to the body shop and acording to them the car will buff up just fine and he showed me to prove it in a spot and it came right out, you can only see the scratches if ure lookin for them =D yay my car wont be ugly for long

                Maybe check into if they buff/wet sand it out. After that if they can put some clear on. Since it will take it down a few layers.
