I read about the guy that did this on Cz28.com .... he put smoked plexi behind it...so it looks like black letters during the day....pretty cool if you ask me....personally I would never have the guts to start choppin my car up....

If cutting the car is the only thing stopping you from doing this spend $35 and get one off a used car. Can even pick your color most often times.

I want to do this too, but I talked to a cop, and he told me that any color except red would be illegal, since it's on the rear of the car.

Look, the only colors allowed on the rear of any normal car (legally) are red, amber, and white. Amber can only be used for turn signals, and white can only be used for reverse lights, which leaves red. And when you put Camaro stickers over the 3rd brake light, the light is still red.

im from lima too! where u from? im from the north side of town. ive been drivin a teal 95 t's and leather. i heard on the news that as long as underbody neons and stuff didnt show the bulbs it was leagel. and neon underbody neons have to shine down not out.
