Looking for a good tire shine?

I've heard Armor-All is good to shine the tires before, but I wasn't impressed with the original formula on tires. I recently tried the new Armor-All Ultra Shine on my tires and it seems to work almost the same as the Armor-All tire foam.

I originally got the ultra-shine for my dash and interior, but it is extremely greasy and I have switched to 303 Aerospace protectant, but if you want a trim detailer and tire shine all in one, ultra shine works great and you don't have to buy a separate product.

Meguiars makes a gell that comes in a small squeeze bottle. That's what i use.

This question's for both of you really -

Do either of the products produce a really wet looking shine that lasts more than a day? I want the tires to be just-soaked-in-water shiny.

I have yet to see anything that has an enduring "wet" look, but most foams will last longer. Meguiar's products do pretty well as far as durability goes. I don't go for gell because it's a PITA to put on. I like to spray and leave it.

I use Advance Auto Parts generic red-can tire shine. Great stuff, cheap, and it lasts about a week of a nice deep black - I don't really like the gloss, just a nice deep black. IMO, the best bang for the buck tire shine.

That stuff works INCREDIBLY well, and you just spray it on. Its not like most spray on's, when u spray it it doesnt foam but yet instantly glosses the tire. Great Stuff IMO.

I've used the Meguiar's stuff too, and frankly Armor-All lasts longer. The AA foam has more durability as well. The Meg's Hot shine does look nice and glossy and wet, but doesn't really shine for more than a day or two in my experience.

Black Magic, same thing. The sprays last about as long as the Meg's stuff.

At autozone they have one called either "jet shine" or "jet wet" its in a red and white can, doesnt drip or run. This stuff is great lasted 4 days only because it rained. First day of rain I could still see the shine on them, all until I went though some mud.

That's the stuff I've been using on my tire. I'm not impressed with the shine.

Nobody else seems to have posted anything about what I'm looking for... I'm not even sure a product exists that give a really, REALLY wet shine that lasts a little while.

I've used the Meguiar Hot Shine high Gloss spray too. I've tried the foam ones as well as gel ones from No Touch, Black Magic, and Meguiars as well as Armor All(applied with paint brush). So far the Hot Shine is my favorite because you just spray it on like spray paint. EASY as Pie! I did it to my friends TrailBlazer it it was WET looking. Like oil on the tire. I don't think it last long because it's prone to attracting debris and especially dust, so it will hamper the shine. I also scrub my tires clean while I'm washing the car. Once in a long while I'll use A2Z wheel cleaner to clean the wheels AND the tires. The Gel Meguiars lasted a couple of weeks, but of course the shine went down day by day, but after two weeks it's not shiney or nothing, yet it's not dull, just black with dust and brake dust mixed in. Nonetheless it's still there.
If you want it to remain shiney try cleaning the tires and applying the tire shine and park it in the garage and don't drive it. There for it will stay shiney longer. :D
or you can simply respray it since it's so simple with Hot Shine.

The foam's shine doesn't last more than a day or two, but the tires will retain a nice matte black finish for a week or so, which I like very much. So far my AA Ultra Shine has lasted two days and the tires are pretty shiny and very dark. Just what I'm looking for. I don't want it TOO shiny for very long.

I want mine SHINEY :D Not only do I shine the tires, I clean and wax my wheels and clean inside my wheel wells and fender liners.

I've been meaning to clean inside my wheel wells, it's just time-consuming. I usually spray it at the car wash then put some tire shine in or something. The insides of the wheels also get really gross.

x2 its purple n smells like grapes :D I think it works the best and it lasts very long. The only negative is you need a foam applicator and it gets a little messy, but it worth it.
