nice, let us know how the fitment is
Well, sorry I havent posted for a while. My computer is shot and I'm using my parents for the time being now. Firs off, the hood looked great out of the box. Me and a buddy of mine pre-drilled the holes and test fitted the hood before paint. Well, the hood frame was hitting something. Doing some searching around, we found out the airbox was hitting. The hood wouldnt close 2 3/8" from the bumper cover. So after removal of the air box, we tried again. This time it was 1" from the bumper cover. Getting a little confused, and a lotta pissed off, we went through some more looking around. The plastic radiator cover/support/airbox bottom was also hitting the hood frame. So off went that. After that the hood fit perfectly flush like OEM. So now im confronted with the problem of the fittement. I called the company and they said that the hood worked on other camaros, and didnt understand why the hood wouldnt fit without removing some parts. They told me that they would get in touch with the manufacturer and call me back. Well a week later and no call, I called them. They said that they still hadnt found out why the hood wouldnt fit and asked me to send pics to them so that they could forward them to the manufacturer. I did this and again awaited their response. After another week with no word back, I called again and said I just wanted my money back (total spent was over $1200). I told them I would ship the hood back for a refund. Well, they wern't they also were uncooperative with try ing to find a hood box for me. The original was practically destroyed after I took the hood out, and so I needed another. Calling literally every body shop around town, I still coulndt find a hood box. 2 weeks after my last call with the company, I called again trying to organize some way to ship this hood back. The guy was out to lunch. I call again a week later... out to lunch again. 3rd weeks the charm right... nope still out to lunch. everytime I called the company, I left my number (the same one, mind you that they've had since I placed the order on some type of record I would think a reputable business would keep) and still havent heard anything back. I'm probably gonna cut the hood frame to fit, but I shouldnt have to. I believe a company should strive for customer satisfaction, but obviously this company does not. Do not buy for DG Motorsports!!! Great lookin hood... S#!tty quality.

well, if you guys just want the look, a paint job could've done it for ya, they just use mesh. Good luck with your hood.

I personally don't like the look of carbon fiber, but everyone to there own. I actually didn't even know they made them. I'd say try google.
