I did a little experiment today with Meguiar's NXT car wash...I got an empty bottle and poured a small amount of NXT in it, then filled the rest of the bottle with tap water, shook it around to mix and tried it on my car. The results were pretty good, I just used a microfiber to finish and my new "mix" works just as well as any quick detailer.
FYI, Meguiar's NXT is some of the best car wash out there: it's a LOT better than Meguiar's Deep Crystal car wash that is sold at your typical Auto Zone or O'Reilly's. This method may work with lesser car wash shampoos, but it probably won't work as well. For best results, mix with DISTILLED water.
