its been discussed to death, theres tons of topics on it, and even pics of 2 or 3 camaros that have it done. do a search and you shall see.

Its greatest advantage other than looks is the fact that you can park in a tighter space. Since our doors are so huge i can actually say this could be considered a slightly usefull mod.

why would you have to reinforce it a lot? beause theres no window frame type thing?is that what you mean , sry im kinda slow

no you have to reinforce it because it was not designed to operate at those angles, when I say glass I mean fiberglass, and no the window frame doesnt really have anything to do with it, its just alot of weight not being used as designed Im sure it would work fine for a little bit, but stress cracks on the door are bound to happen.

dont know about yours my doors are steal......

anbd the doors only have to move out about 4-6 iches to lift up

I am 100% on the fiberglass, my door was ripped from my car a few weeks ago, its fiberglass unless steel breaks up in little fibers all over the ground like someone cut my hair. The inside is metal where the window motor is riveted but the exterior is all fiberglass. Found that out the hard way.

Def. fiberglass...When I ripped apart my donor car up in connecticut i just broke the interior door handles off the door. Didn't even have to drill out the rivets....
