What I don't understand is how this actually helps getting in/out of your car? I mean Lambo doors are designed to swing up and out of the way. Doing this on our cars would get you what... a 60% angle? You would have to slide into the car.

those are not the one's i would buy... there are som the make the door likr 85* with the fender its basically like having no door at all

is it possible that they are dif from camaro to firebird or maybe from 97 to 98. i have a 99 bird and the new fenders i put on are steel. magnet sticks to mine.

No, only the hood and qtr panels are steel. The roof, hatch and doors are sheet molding compound. The fenders and rr fascia panel are reaction-injection-molded composite-plastic parts.
Use your knuckle and knock on them, you will hear the difference. Or push on the fender, mine actually bends inward.
Same way with "leather Seating" surfaces, you can tell which part of the seat is leather and which is vinyl by tapping on it with your nails and listening.
