• Installing side skirts

I have a 99 firebird that came without the factory ground effects. I am planning to get the stock side skirts from a Trans Am and put them on. Has anyone done this or something similar or know what all I need to do to get them on? Thanks!

You mean the rocker panel extenders? I think that's what they're called. I would look at the TA you got them from or find a junked one that you can tear into. Mine attach to the front and rear wheel wells, but I'm sure there's more fasteners somewhere, I just haven't looked.

For the front and back bumpers on a TA, I believe it's all one piece...you'd have to replace the bumpers.

yea, i'm not worried about the bumpers. I know that the side skirts are different on the firebirds from the TA's but the TA side skirts are easier to find. Thanks for the help
