sounds like they didnt use enuf clear or non HOK clear. i am sure if you call HOK they may tell u whats goin on.
i used their tech support when painting my flames and i also did a candy paint job on my old motorcycle...
most likely they will tell u that the clear wasnt mixed right and its soft instead of rock hard.
but from my experience in painting .its always best to use top of the line clear .
there are some really tuff paint that can withstands scratches under extreme conditions.
the tuffest clear i have ever worked with was a paint call glazzerith or glasserith.. cant remember the exact spelling but it was rock hard.
if u waited to long to wetsand and buff after painting u were in for a hell of a job.
