Car has a lil rust on the bottom what should i do?

I got a 94 camaro and its from " The Great Lakes " Michigan . It has some rust at the bottom its not that bad but I want to do something so it wont go any further and if possible so that rust can come off. The muffler is pretty messed up so I have get a new one.. But other than that It isnt that bad.... Any Suggestions???

Get some Navel Gelly and spread it on there. If its not much rust it should just dissolve and you should be able to wipe it right off. Make sure you get it all off and wash the area real well.

Where exactly is the rust at?

On the muffler and around it... like theres some on the rear springs and on the rear axle, some right under the passenger side... It doesnt look deep .. I just need to replace the muffler... and spray something or put something to stop it from getting furhter and to scrape off whats already on there....

If Navel Gelly doesn't work then you just have to CAREFULLY sand the rust off, prime it and paint it.

Or pay someone else to do it.

why would he have to be careful? just sand prime and paint ... i dont understand ...

Because you still have good paint you dont want to make the re-paint area bigger.
