  • New ground effects problems...

I received my new vizage body kit yesterday and I'm a bit concerned about some warping and a small "dent". They come all twisted in the box and I found out that you're supposed to lay them out in the sun to warm and their "memory" will restore them to their correct shape. No such luck. One of the "vents" on the front spoiler is kinda warped in an odd way, along the inner edges, and on one of the side sections of the back skirt there is a slight indentation where it looks like something with a chiseled edge like a screwdriver impacted it lightly. Anyone have any idea how I could "iron" these imperfections out? Thanks... :(

I really don't like that body kit at all IMHO. What made you pick this one over your other choices???
\"Well, we don\'t care how bad-*** some dude\'s N/A Honda S2000 motor is; if you go up against 900+ pushrod ponies and 750 pounds of earth-shaking torque with a wrong-wheel-drive econobox, you\'re gonna get a fast and furious old-school ***-whipping.\"

Honestly, All the others are major boring, to the point of why bother. Xenon? Okay from side and rear, but gap in center looks strange. Wings west? Like the front but the sides that turn out aren't to my taste at all. The only other I liked was RKSport, and when it turned out that I couldn't get nearly as good a deal on them, and I wasn't disappointed, I realized I wanted the Vizage. Basically, If your kit makes your car look like a Camaro with the factory GFX, whats the point of doing it at all. The vizage is unique. I think I'd be disappointed if everyone liked it. I respect your opinion though, thanks for the feedback..

I've just been offered some money for my factory gfx, so now I'm looking into getting the Vizage kit but as cheap as possible. I found it for $555 but need to check if the seller is an authorized dealer first. Where did you get your kit?

Go to my homepage at http://www.cardomain.com/memberpage/703383 and click on the Never Enough Auto Accessories link. He gave me an excellent price, less than your price including shipping, but he had a problem with Vizage, something about them not dealing with the JP company anymore. Give Brad an email and see what he says.

Hey rallysportchic97, I just realized that I'm familiar with your car. Definitely one of the best sixes I've seen online. It will look awesome with the Vizages kit. You have great taste! In fact, after seeing your anniversary stripes, I've been thinking about having a set made up to work on my 2001 and set it apart from the typical ones. I'm not afraid to be "incorrect". Keep up the good work. I'm probably going to start a vizage camaro owners forum online soon and would love to have you join. I'll let you know when I do..
