• 5% Window Tint? Get it or Not?

A yes i have a 96 bright Flame Red camaro v6 hatchback t-top and i want to get some tint for it!! i want 5% but i dont know if that will be too dark? I would like to get 10% or 15% but i dont know where i could get it!!! I live in tulsa oklahoma and the law says you cant have more then 20%!! I would like to see some pics of some camaros with 5%,10%,15% or 20%? I would like to see red ones but any color would do!! thanks!!!

Around here they do it reverse I believe. They measure the percent of light that goes through the tint. Lowest percent here is 35%. My windows are at 32% or so. I don't even know if 5% would be worth it.

5% is VERY dark. I have 20% all around (I used to have 20% on the back and 35% on the sides but it was too light on the sides). I love it. During the day the cops don't stare because they can still kind of see you but at night, forget about it :D

in oklahoma there is no limit. i asked a tint place not more than a month ago but local laws might be different. i could give you the info of the shop here but i doubt you want to drive all the way to yukon.

by the way, you should check out our Oklahoma club in the Heartland Heat forum

I would definently get the 5% on the back window, I have it and it looks great. I don't think it is really that dark. Also at night, if somebody is riding your a** you can flip your mirror to night time and you can't see them :D

Its a bad shot of the car, but this is 5% tint during the daytime. Its a little wet from the morning dew.. but you get the picture. Cant see anything during the day, cant see anything during the night. I love it.

Okay, these pics make the tint tint look about 5% darker than they really are, but trust me, I think it's plenty dark. The first two, no one is in the car, the last one I'm in the passenger side.

Thanks Man!! SO thats 20% on your car edoog? Well i have t-tops in mine and i was wondering if i got 5% if it would give it some light throught the t-tops during the day? because i see that your white camaro edoog doesnt have t-tops and i think your tint would be plenty dark for me but since i have t-tops it might lighten it up more? so i was just wondeing! thanks.

I had 5% on my first Mustang. It was black and looked great. My only problem was adjusting - I drove around with a headache for a few days while my eyes got used to it.

You can't go wrong with limo tint. :D

I would prob get 10%. 5% looks good but it's hard to see out your windows at night.
