  • Caliper Color?

I just got my new Sumitomo HTR Z II tires and my C5 wheels will be here in a coupe days and I want to paint my brake calipers. On top of painting them I'm going to buy Camaro decals for them. I'm going for a black and silver look with my car and I don't know if I should paint them black and get a silver decal or silver and a black decal?

true, unless you get high performance brake pads which don't emit much brake dust. but you'll still be cleaning them a little more than you would a dark color.

Red or black. Several light coats, and then several light coats of clear (put the decals on before you clear!).

i'd say black with silver. By the way, you have a great looking camaro, just about the nicest 93-97 i've seen.

A question from me.. Would it be stupid to paint my calipers red if I have a black and silver theme going? Because black doesnt show up as much and I wanted a color besides polished..

If you've got black and silver going, use black calipers.

I went with a black and silver theme and my calipers are red. Check out my pics in the sig if you want to see what it looks like. I like it and it makes them look like high performance brakes ;) .
