I got them and they looked dirty figured I go ahead and clean em up nice before I mounted them on my car but nothing is doing anything to it they look exactly the same as they do in this picture after washing with soap/water tried degreaser spray and windex (heard it from a crackhead figured what the hell). Nothing is chaning how they look. Still have those water spot looking things on it.

you need to be more specific with wheel cleaners, different cheaners are made for different types of wheels. many cleaners will stain aluminum wheels. besides, what he needs now is a polish, as i mentioned before.

So why would I look for polish if I wasn't going to polish. I also want to know if this is a problem with the wheels. Though I do appreciate your help...
I thought the wheels were just dirty I got them off Ebay and don't have never had "bling" so bare with me.

i highly suggest you pick up either some mothers aluminum wheel polish or some never-dull.
(do make sure theyre aluminuim first)
also, are you saying you dont wax your car? you might want to look into doing that if you plan on keeping your car for any amount of time.

hard to say how you would find out... you could call boyd and ask them if they even made them in both chrome and aluminum. chrome tends to shine a bit more, but you dont have much to compare to.
I just looked over the auction they're forged billet aluminum.
So what should I get to clean and polish them, might as well I don't have the money but Wednesday or something hopefully I can go to the bank and get this stuff.

This is our legendary metal polish. Mothers®' secret formula balances a brilliant shine with easy use for aluminum wheels and parts, brass, alloys and accessories. Application is just a matter of a clean cloth and a little elbow grease. Mothers® Mag & Aluminum polish is strong enough to put a shine to the most neglected metals and gentle enough to use on a regular basis.

Directions: dip towel and rub polish into wheel. turn towel over to clean side and wipe off. its that easy.
I hope so after washing the wheel, the car and mounting all 4 wheels by hand I'm down for any sort of easy task. These wheels look bad a$$ on my Camaro, stick out more then the stockers but I like it the stocker were under the top half of the fender and about even at the bottom now it sticks out near the bottom. I took some pics which I'll post in a minute.

as for the wheels after you polish them up I suggest putting a coat of wax or even better a sealant on them helps keep them and protect them a little better. Its a pain in the *** when you do it but in the long run makes it easier in my opinion.
So my truck is finally getting some work done, after 17 years, Oil pressure sensor went out and it’s located under the lower intake manifold. Have to...
