Well earlier this year I got in an accident (not my fault FYI).
I figured as long as the front end parts need to be replaced might as well do a front end conversion. So after much searching I found all the parts got the car converted in 1-2 hours, luckily the guy I was getting parts from was parting out his entire car cause several parts needed to be replaced that aren't part of the conversion, some front brackets, the hood hinges because they were damaged. Got all the parts on but just barely, my car has frame damage.
As you can see the parts aren't lined up to well frankly I'm suprised they got on at all, the bumper as far forward as it could go and several other parts are at maximum tolerances just to fit it together, my frame looks like a sine wave instead of being flat.
Also just a FYI, the front bumper impact material is pretty worthless unless your running into a poll or wall, I hit a camry not exactly a raised vehicle and my car slid right under hers and instead of hitting the impact material it hit my frame. I still have my front impact thing looks brand new not bent or broke in the least cause the car slid right over it and into the frame and radiator support. Her insurance most definetly will be paying for the frame damage, they already lowballed me with a $1700 estimate for just the external damage not taking into account any frame damage even though estimates I got were $2200-2400 (For a 97 front end repair as is).
