  • Mod for Our crappy headlights!

now if you have seen the pictures of that blown z with the piaa headlights ..you will know that it costs an insane amount of scratch to pull it off..the guy payed almost a grand for that if i remember correctly.. now someone on camaroz28.com has found a way to do it for 250 bucks .. not piass but look damn good though..if its that much im gonna risk it and try to pull off this modification.. here is the link:http://web.camaross.com/forums/showt...threadid=62272

I'm thinking they will... I know 4" APC's will fit, and these are less than 4"...

This is a picture of it when he was done:
            http://bellsouthpwp.net/m/u/mulgeary/CarFront.JPG

i think it looks incredible.. im gonna join to ask some questions.. it looks like your just drill three holes in the assembly and adjust the angle of the light with the screws.. which is no problem for me..the high beams are harder to get in but that is solved with a little filing..now in case you get a "fix it ticket" or something goes wrong... with this setup u can go back to your stock lights..i just gotta ask him how the light are in the rain(any water trouble) and is the wiring as simple as i think it is(just a simple connector u can purchase from the site).. i might have to wait a month for my funds to grow due to college :-\.. but im gonna order everything all at one.. i have a friends digi cam and ill do a write up if this guy doesnt..plus i would be (for the most part) the only baltimore camaro with that setup and i like that feeling :D cant beat it
            2 low beams
            2 high beams
            4 connectors
2 spare bulbs(h9) which u have to order and cant buy at your local autozone
he spent 270 with shipping included... im gonna give it a try

When i first saw the PIAA mod i loved it and i still do love it! BUt i dont like his MOD it dosnt look right with the 2 different bulbs. It dosent look right with differnt bulbs kind of cheap looking. Its a good attempt tho.
